The new SBS route on Woodhaven/Crossbay Blvd. is a great addition for mass transit users in the city speeding up the tedious commute between the Rockaways and the train stations on Queens Boulevard.
However, there has been major complaints from car users about the current layout of the SBS route causing trouble to their daily commute. New transit routes such as SBS should not discriminate against car users: both car and transit users should get a fair shake.
As Assemblyman I will call for the route to be looked at again and tweaked if necessary so transit users can enjoy the benefit of the SBS route without car users being penalizing in the process.
